Registering and Login

Why do I have to register to buy products from this site?

We require all buyers on www.mikka.co.za to register prior to any purchases for security reasons and to prevent fraudulent transactions taking place on this Website.

 

I want to register as a buyer on www.mikka.co.za, how do i do this ?

This is a simple and quick process. Click on the ‘Register button at the top right hand side of the Website. A new page will open where you can ‘create a new account’, enter your details as requested and then click ‘submit’. You will receive a confirmation e-mail to the address you registered with. You can return to 'My Account' at any time to edit or update your details.

 

Do I need to enable cookies in my browser?

Cookies will need to be enabled on your browser to allow you to add products to your cart and access your account information. Cookies cannot access your personal information, but instead use anonymous unique identifiers. For more information please see our Privacy Policy.

 

What should I do if I have forgotten my password?

Select the ‘Login’ button on the top right hand side of the Webpage, select the ‘Forgotten Password’ button and follow the instructions that follow.

 

Browsing and Buying

How do I know if buying from you is safe?

All credit card information is processed by external banking service providers. No credit card information is stored on our site at all, thus making it 100% safe for you to use. The Mikka payment system has a 128-bit SSL security encryption certification issued by Symantec, with 256-bit Encryption. For more information please refer to our Privacy Policy.

 

I am nervous about using my credit card for online purchases or do not have one, how can you help me?

Valid payment can be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and direct bank deposit, after placing your order so you can have an order number as reference. The banking details are:

How do I browse the products on this site?

The Website has been designed in two main areas of product groupings or categories. You can select the Brand you are interested in, from a drop down menu on the top of the page, by selecting the 'Shop by Brands' button. Alternatively, you can select the type of department category you are interested in browsing by selecting the department category from the drop down menu, by selecting the 'Shop by Department' button. The other method you can use is to select from either one of the two main categories at the bottom of the page, Performance or Lifestyle. By selecting either of these two you will be directed to the various options available for you to browse. There is also a search function if you are looking for something specific. Click on a thumbnail to view the full product details, additional images as well as the zoom functionality.

 

How do I know if my order has been processed?

All successful transactions are followed by a confirmation email that is sent to you with your invoice and order tracking number. Should you not receive such an email, then you should try placing your order again. Should you still experience problems, Contact Us to confirm your order.

 

What is the status of my order?

Please use the tracking ID in your confirmation email to track the status of your order. If you have any difficulties with this process, please do not hesitate to Contact Us.

Are the goods all genuine/ original/ authentic Branded products?


All our stock items are supplied by the Brands themselves and are all 100% genuine/ original/ authentic. Mikka does not entertain or sell counterfeit goods.

 

Is there a warranty on the items for sale at www.mikka.co.za?

It depends on the brand that you have purchased, but in most cases, there is a warranty. The warranty is usually listed on the product page, however, should you have any questions, send us an mail.

 

Do your prices include VAT?

Our prices are all inclusive of VAT.

 

How do I know I am buying the right size footwear?

If you are not entirely sure of the right size of your footwear, use the following steps to help:

  • Stand on a piece of paper on the floor with your weight slightly forward, making sure your foot is flat;
  • Using a pen, draw a line behind your heel and one in front of your longest toe. If your one foot is longer than the other, use the longer foot for measurement;
  • Measure the gap between the two lines in cm and match to the size chart found at Size Chart. Should your size fall between measurements, round it up.

Deliveries and returns/exchanges

Are deliveries free? If not, how much do I pay for a delivery?

Deliveries are free for purchases of ZAR 600.00 or more. For purchases less than ZAR 600.00 or purchasing goods on sale, the delivery fees are calculated per delivery zone. For more information see our Delivery Policy.

 

How do you get my purchases to me?

We ship goods to any location in South Africa, including to your door or your place of work. We do not ship to private bags or PO boxes as there is no-one there to accept the order.

 

Can you tell me when I will get my goods?

The delivery date is determined by the date and time of the order as well as the receipt of the payment confirmation. Depending on the area to be delivered to, your order could take anything from 3 (three) to 5 (five) working days to deliver. For more information see our Delivery Policy.

 

What are working days?

A working day refers to a normal business day and would exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

 

My order has arrived but it is damaged or not what I ordered, Help.

Should you receive your order and you are not satisfied, you need to contact the customer service team of Mikka immediately, please refer to Contact Us. You may return items for replacement or credit, provided;

You return the goods within 10 (ten) days of delivery,

The goods are in a re-sellable condition and in the original packaging. The products are new and have not been used.
